DEBT NEGOTIATION |
While bankruptcy is a very powerful tool in a consumer’s arsenal, it is not always the best option for an individual facing debt. If you have relatively few unsecured debts, the amount of your debt is low, you have received a Chapter 7 discharge within the last 8 years, and/or you do not qualify for a Chapter 7 discharge but need to address your unsecured debts, debt negotiation (or debt settlement) may be the appropriate option for you.
Through debt negotiation, we are able to settle your debt amounts on individual credit cards down to between 20 and 50 cents on the dollar. This is a significant reduction based on your outstanding debt amount, your creditor, you payment status, and your financial situation.
While debt negotiation will stay on your credit report for up to 7 years, its effects on your credit score will be determined by how it is reported by your creditor. We will try to negotiate the best possible reporting terms for you to put you in the most advantageous position moving forward.
